We do not have a data protection officer: given the size of the business and the nature of the processing, it isn't mandatory. For any question about your data, write to info@orfebretech.com.
What data we process and why
This website has no user accounts, newsletter or private area. The only form is the contact form, active only if we've configured it. We only process personal data in one case.
- When you write to us
- If you send an email to info@orfebretech.com or fill in the website's contact form, when active, we process your name, your company if you provide it, your email address and the content of your message, to reply to you and, where relevant, to assess and prepare a professional relationship.
Outside the form, the website doesn't collect any browsing data: we don't use analytics or cookies, we don't have access logging enabled on the hosting, and the typefaces are served from our own domain, with no calls to third parties.

- Our legitimate interest in attending to those who write to us (Article 6.1.f GDPR) and, when contact is aimed at a professional relationship, the application of pre-contractual measures at your request (Article 6.1.b).
Retention periods
- Emails
- For as long as the conversation lasts and, if it doesn't lead to a professional relationship, for up to twelve months after the last message. If there is a relationship, for its duration and afterwards for as long as required by legal obligations, in particular tax and commercial ones.
Recipients and data processors
We don't sell or transfer your data. It is processed on our behalf, as data processors, by three providers:
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL
- 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. Hosts the website: the files in Amazon S3 and delivery through the Amazon CloudFront network. Processes the IP address needed to serve you each page; we don't have access logging enabled. Subject to the AWS Data Processing Addendum.
- Google Cloud EMEA Limited
- 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. Manages the info@orfebretech.com email account through Google Workspace. Subject to Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
- Formspree, Inc.
- 2093 Philadelphia Pike, suite 3132, Claymont, Delaware 19703, United States. Receives submissions from the contact form, when active, and forwards them to info@orfebretech.com. It only processes the data you enter in the form.
Outside these cases, we will only disclose data when required to by law.
International transfers
All three providers are headquartered in the United States and may process data outside the European Economic Area: Formspree provides its service entirely from there. In all three cases the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Decision 2021/914), incorporated into their contracts. In addition, Amazon and Google LLC are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, covered by the Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023; if Formspree, Inc. is not, the transfer remains covered, like the rest, by the standard contractual clauses.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it, request its portability and withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights write to info@orfebretech.com stating which right you are exercising. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity we may ask you to prove it. We respond within one month, extendable by a further two months if the request is complex; in that case we'll let you know.
Complaints to the Spanish Data Protection Agency
If you believe we are not processing your data in accordance with the regulations, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), Paseo de la Castellana, 141, 9th floor, 28046 Madrid, Spain, or through its electronic office at aepd.es. Before that, if you'd like, write to us: we'd rather sort it out directly.
